A garden on church property? What good could come? Possible outcomes could be altar flowers, a quiet space for members to pray, food for the needy, and learning opportunities for children.
I would love to see a church be more than a just a place people attend once a week. The more we can get people coming to the church the more likely daily prayer services are to happen. And, don't we all need a little more prayer in our life.
Personally, I am a visual learner. In the same way, going to church for a service or prayer service is not same as listening to a sermon on the radio or praying at home. The latter is good, but being in the physical presence of the church hits on all my senses.
